RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We have a fourteen(14) day return policy, which means you have fourteen(14) days after receiving your item to request a return. Not all products for purchase by us are eligible for return. All return requests are subject to approval. Please see the types of products below that are excluded from this return policy. 

Returns are not accepted for items under the categories: grocery, any opened/tested health & beauty products, all swimwear, bodysuits, intimates, and worn jewelry. This is due to the nature of the product and hygiene protection for all individuals. This helps ensure that you as the customer will receive the highest quality assurance that can be provided. In some situations, this can be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you have any questions. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not the United States, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

Once the product is received at our return facility, please allow 24-72 hours for processing time. When the return order is complete, the buyer will be notified of the results and actions. 

Important note:

In certain cases, customers may be required to cover the cost of any applicable restocking fees. All approved returns must be handed over to the carrier within 7 days of receiving the return shipping label (certain holidays in which shipping services are closed and non-business days are excluded). Returns received beyond this period will be subject to a non-negotiable restocking fee of up to 20%. If the returned item is not in its original condition, a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted from your return. Such fees will be subtracted from the refund amount. This policy is in place to ensure the efficiency of our return process.  We appreciate your understanding and compliance.

New Change: $6 Flat Rate Return Shipping

In response to the challenges posed by rising shipping costs, we are introducing a $6 flat rate for return shipping. As a small business, these costs impact our ability to uphold the standards of quality in our products and services. The implementation of this flat rate allows us to continue delivering top-quality products and the customer service you deserve. 

We want to reassure you that, as a convenience, a return shipping label will still be provided. Importantly, the fee may not apply to orders that are damaged in transit, wrong item sent, defective, and/or for reasons beyond the customer's control.

Note
A refund can only be sent to the original payment method.  If you no longer have access to that payment method, then you need to contact the bank or agency for the original payment method to claim the funds after the refund is sent.

Starting a Return

Return requests are so much easier now! Please see below:

To submit a return request:

 

  1. Click the profile icon in the store's navigation, or click on Claims/Returns at the bottom of any page.
  2. Login to your account/create a new account:
    1. Enter your email address in the Email field and click Continue,
    2. In your email account, open the email from our store and copy the six-digit verification code in the email,
    3. Go back to the online store, and enter the verification code copied from the email.
  3. Click on the order you want to start a return for,
    1. If your order has more than one item, please select the items(s) you want to submit a return request for,
  4. Select a return reason and add any notes/comments for us to help us process your request,
  5. Click Request return

Please allow 1-3 business days to process a return. Most returns are processed within 1 business day.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you will receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label.
After the product has been returned to our returns department and has been processed, you will be notified of your refund.


The return order will include a pre-filled return shipping label with the addresses already provided. Simply pack the item securely and ship it using the provided label.

In some situations, buyers could be responsible for return shipping and any restocking fees that might be applicable. This amount can be deducted from your refund.

Cancellations & Edits to orders

Orders may not be canceled once an order is placed unless certain criteria are met. Orders cannot be canceled once 24 hours have gone by since order placement.  For questions about canceling or making edits to your order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing the order. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

Certain products cannot be returned, like grocery, custom products(i.e. special orders/personalized items), opened/tampered personal care goods (such as health and beauty products), all swimwear, bodysuits, intimates, and worn jewelry.  This is due to the nature of the product and hygiene protection. This helps ensure that you as the customer will receive the highest quality assurance that can be provided.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

If you believe that your item has been misrepresented, received the incorrect order, or if there is a mistake on behalf of Luxury on a Dime, please contact us immediately. We will work diligently to find a solution that has your experience ending with a smile.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is approved, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to update you on the status. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. It can take up to 10 business days based on the financial institution or agency for you to receive the refunded amount.

Note
A refund can only be sent to the original payment method. If you no longer have access to that payment method, then you need to contact the bank or agency for the original payment method to claim the funds after the refund is sent. Refunds might appear in the form of a reversal. In the case of a reversal, the original payment is removed from your bank statement, and a separate credit is not issued. It will treat the transaction as if it never occurred. 

Inside the authorization period, when a refund is applied (either partially or in full), you may not see a line item on the statement for a refund because we adjust the capture amount for the charge when it settles. You may still have a charge as “Pending” on the statement until the period expires. A refund cannot be canceled once issued. If the card that you have is expired or canceled, the new card is credited with the refund. In the rare case that you don't have a new card, the bank usually sends the refund to the bank account.

If you would like help in determining the status of a refund that you have processed, then contact support for a refund reference number. The Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) is also the refund reference number. ARNs are available for all refunds that are sent to a Visa or Mastercard.
